The long wait is about over

Hi people. Been awhile since I last posted. To recap: I cancelled my '03 order when the next day the '04 showed up on the Ford website, and I read about the improvements.

A lot has happened since then...the '04 slipped by. The good news is that the '05 I ordered came into my dealership Monday. There it sits until my AQHA membership hits the 30 day mark (next Wednesday).

That's going to be one exciting day...I haven't had a new truck since I bought a '99 Nissan Frontier. This is a totally different animal though.

Stats:

Black XLT Scab
5.4 engine
4x4...electronic shift on the fly
Trailer tow package
507A pref equip pkg
Prem 6 disc changer (the Xlt guys can play mp3s now)
P255 A-T tires
3.73 limited slip
64E chrome wheels
Fog lamps
keyless entry
35.7 gal tank
reverse sensors
pwr driver seat

I think that covers it. I figured that I can get aftermarket wheels later, and I'm sure I can get aftermarket skid plates that are better than the Ford items, so I passed.

....I wonder if boat prices are better in the winter....

Congrats! I was going to wait back in 03, but ended up getting an 03 Screw. But it got totaled, so now I have an 04 FX4. Finally got what I wanted!

(Steve Martin jerk voice)

"I don't need anything.....just this remote control...and THIS, a K&N aircleaner. That's all I need, the remote and the K&N aircleaner. I don't need anything else, I need THIS. Ok, the remote, the K&N and this Catback exhaust....but that's it. And this roll-up tonneau cover. Just the remote control, the K&N aircleaner, the catback exhaust and the roll-up tonneau cover.... etc, etc"

Man, it IS insidious...isn't it? lol

I got rid of the Nissan about three years ago. Been missing having a truck ever since. I live in truck country, plus, we have Harleys.

This truck should do whatever I want it to. Now I can get that 22' Regal. muuhaa haa haa.
