Question Nitto Terra Grappler A/T 325/60X18's

I love the look of these tires but kinda hesitant about ordering them, several post describe them as extremely loud.... Is this the case? I can handle a little noise but if they are as loud as one post described them I think i might try another route. All input god or bad would be appreciated... also anylinks to picks would be nice Thanks JMW

The Nitto Terra Grappler is on of the quietest all terrian tires available. I have never heard anyone say they are loud. Maybe they were referring to the Nitto Mud Grappler.

I can't see them being loud at all... look at the tread design! I think Wandell is onto something with the mud-terrain mix-up.

Yeah, I read a review on the Mud Grapplers and it said they were very loud. I have a friend with Terra Grapplers and they are even quieter than my BFG AT KO's.

I have a set on my truck and love them. They do have a slight hum above 55mph though.

I have them and love them, you can take a look at my gallery, over 65 you can hear a hum from the road over stock but it really isn't terribly noticeable, either that or my flowmasters are drowning them out

Great tires and very 4x4 looking. enjoy just don't pay to much...

Discount Tire has good prices from what I found but I get a discount there so you may find better.

got 'em on Helo Maxx 6 wheels that are 9.5" wide vs. the 7" wide stock wheel. Look great and perform well too. Rain, mud and sand have been great. Snow is on the way, but I expect them to do good. My only concern with the snow is how wide they are on the new wheel. I've always had BFG A/T's which have a narrower tread than this config. which was awesome. BFG in that size was indefinately backordered for me.

I got mine at discount tire and had them siped. Road noise is insignificant. I have an Aeroturbine exhaust and a kickin' stereo.

Now if I can find somebody nearby that sells them I'll try out a set. Had my hearts et of BFG but if they aren't going to produce the 18" AT then I ahve no choice but go with these. Had a set of new 18" Weld wheels in the basement waiting for tires since the summer. Thanks, BFG! Seriously, appreciated all your input to the Nittos!
