325/60-18 Nitto Terra Grapplers

Whoo-hoo!, just got them installed on the FX4 and they look bad ass! I will get some pics up tonight.

35" tires fit no problem at all with the Autospring 2" lift, I also went with the MB Blitz wheels, very nice looking. Thanks for the assitance on this board about which wheel/tire combo to get.

I have to agree with dzervit, we need pics. As a matter of fact, we probably need a new rule that you cant tell us anythying about a new mod until you can give us pics, its just not fair!

Uh.....

The 325/60/18 is a 33" tire. Maybe that explains why they fit so well? :D

I agree - they are a sharp tire - they're going on my '05 Lariat in a couple weeks.

Enjoy!

Wait a minute, I thought the 315 was closer 33" and 325 was almost 35".

According to Nitto's website, the 325/60-18's have an inflated diameter of 32.99".

E46Dawg 09-21-2004 05:39 PM

Well crap, those 33's sure do look bad ass how bout that!

Thanks for the input guys, ya learn something everyday, heh

A lot of people make that mistake about tire size. The first number (325) is actually the WIDTH of the tire in mm. The second number (60 or 60%) is an aspect ratio to determine the height of the sidewall.

325mm=12.8 inches (width of tire)
12.8 x 0.60=7.68 inches (height of sidewall)
7.68 + 7.68 + 18=33.36 inches (total height of tire and rim)

That's pretty close to the 32.99" that Nitto claims.

That's a good explanation. It is suprising how huge these tire looked compared to the stock 18's that were on them, it feels completely different driving the truck now, it seems much more "grounded" hard to explain but it feels solid.

And the pictures are WHERE?

Sitting on my home computer as I sit here toiling away at work...
