I don't like the F150 eyebrow that comes with clearance lights but it may be my only choice. Chopping up my roof is a big cost if I mess up.
I ordered the lights from Jim Byington, a distributor for Weldon Inc.Link to the Amber LED Jim can be reached at 517-323-7121 or 517-230-3601

After I ordered the lights, I discovered that there was a good possibility that they were made by Peterson, a well known name in vehicle lighting. Here's a LINK to the #168 Piranha LED lights. You should be able to locate a Peterson dealer close to your location.

Awesome, thanks. I would love to see some pics of your truck far away with those lights on. What are they wired to? I would imagine to somewhere near the driver side and connected to the headlight switch? Pics of those at dusk or near night at a distance from the truck would be great. Also, do they stick on or drill on and is cutting required.

I hooked them to the tail light circuit that is in the trailer tow harness near the hitch. It was a bit of a run on the wire, but the LED's don't take much juice, so I'm not to concerned about voltage drop.

They are attached with stainless steel screws (for sheet metal) The plastic on the running boards in pretty thick and the screws pull up tight. You need to drill three holes for each light. 2 small pilot holes for the screws and one larger hole between those two for the 2 wires to pass through.

I'll try to get some dusk-dark shots over the upcoming weekend.

If you feel like taking a drive, you're not to far away from me. I'm up by Chico (approx. 150 miles north of you). You can take a look at the lights up close get a better idea of what they look like.
