Does anybody know when they start selling the 2005 models? Also how about any changes for the better?

the 2005s will be coming out in september and the lariats
will have some features that is now standard equipment
will be optional and you will have to pay extra for them if you want them. ford always decontent their best sellers so they can make more money.
they should be like the imports and have certain equipment for each models and do away all the options.

Does anybody know if the 05 4.6 will get the 3 valve heads or are they waiting until 06 to release that. The mustang's got the 3 valve head so we know there available. They should be in a hurry to get those put in the trucks cause the 2 valve 4.6 is now the most underpowered heaviest truck out!

I heard that this was held off until '06.

Is this still true or will it be available in '05?

The 4.6L will remain as a 2V, no 3V at least for start of production

There will be a manual transmission, but it will only be with the 4.2L V6 and only in regular cab 4x2's.
