From what I was told it is near the front passenger seat. Upper under the right side of the dash. The dealer said it is really buried and you need to get under the dash to see it.

Haven't looked for mine so can't say if this info is accurate or not.

My kick panel by the front passenger door has a picture of a gas can and a big X through it. So I am guessing it is behind kick panel. The panel is held in place by those cheap plastic screws/spacers, so I have yet to remove the panel since I fear snaping those things in half.

FUEL cutoff switch

O.K. to clarify, it is under the right kickpanel where your right foot would be when you are seated.

There is a pull tab towards the rear and the panel pulls right out.

I am not sure if you also need to remove the fuse cover which removes in the same way.

From what I hear, it's a button you press to reset, not a fuse?

im probably wrong but, i think maybe our trucks is one that doesnt need to have its fuel pump turned off. it says in the superchips instructions "some viehicles may need to have there fuel pump disabled. in the trucks owners manual, pg 193 it describes the fuel shut down switch. if you read is says that we dont accually turn the fuel off, when something happens to the car it turns off automatically. the switch is just to reset the pump. i went ahead and programed my truck, no turning on or off the fuel pump, it works just fine and i can totally tell the differance.

i edited everything accept the shift points and the shift pressure, i wouldnt know what im doing if i tryed. has anyone who knows there stuff found some good points and pressure to use with the high preformance tune. just wondering, thanks alot i hope my explaination helps

Will the new programmer adjust for intakes and exhaust, meaning will you gain more with these features with the 1714...(do you have a performance exhaust y/n.....do you have an intake y/n) or does it ignore these addons. Also how are people doin with the speedo recal?

Kudos to my salesperson...he wouldn't let me leave the lot until I pressed the reset fuel shut off switch. It's almost impossible to see. Looking at the fuse box, the reset switch is towards the top-left corner, behind the fuse box. It's like a little black rubber nipple....hehe... I said nipple

ill look into that switch oh and it doesnt ask for those mods b/c those arent really that important. it does ask for gear changes and tire size.
