Before and After 2" Auto Spring
So just to be clear, your kit was the 2" kit? When you ordered the kit did you say " I want a 2" kit"? I got confussed reading the one post that said something like 2" will get you 2.25" and 1.5" will get you 1.625". Umm that reminded me of a drunken night or two I had in college at a party with girls, but I won't go into anymore detail!
However, I've been tossing this idea of lifting my truck around in my mind since I picked it up back in March. I love the truck, love the looks both inside and outside. BUT, I get very depressed each time I see another FX4 sitting level out front like it SHOULD FROM THE FACTORY (pay attention Ford!). I don't know why, but for some reason if I go through with the lift I want the autospring instead of daystar, is this bad? I know this subject has been beat to death 3 times over but I just want to make sure I get a kit that will not alter the factory handling/ride that much. My truck rarely leaves black top and seldom hauls/pulls a load so what ever looks the best and will offer the best ride is what I'm after. Thanks for any advice!

This was the 2" kit. The wheel well height is 40" from ground front and rear. I did it myself with alittle help from one of my buds. The only hard parts was getting the ball joints disconnected. But other than that it was quite easy.
