Anyone know how to remove the back seat?
Anyone know how to remove the back seat?
I am having a really hard time trying to pull out the back seat to put on Wet Oakley seat covers. Anyone have instructions or know how the heck this thing comes out?

Has any one actually left their back seats out of their vehicle? If so, do you just replace the bolts so the problem stated above does not occure or is there more to it. I got the super cab not for hauling people but for another purpose, big subs and amps!

sorry to bump a 6 year old thread but no matter what i search online i cannot seem to find,
about a year ago an audio install shop removed the back seats for me. they seemed to have taken out the passenger side bolt that connects to the W708731-S301 nut.
does anyone know where i can get a replacement bolt/washer/nut assembly?
and to Jakazz I have been driving without that one bolt and the other three nuts tightened for a year, it just makes funny noises when turning and going over certain bumps
any help will be appreciated!

Those instructions from the manual do not list the proper usage nor the correct number of curse words to get the seat back off.

Amen. They made it much more difficult than they had to!
Oh yea, I didn't see it, but once you get one side off, put something in there to keep it back. 15 minutes of digging around trying to get to the stupid release, and with a snick click, it's back on all by itself as you work on the other one.
THAT most certainly WILL induce curse words and throwing of tools. Do not tackle this job with small children around.
On the upside, once you've done it a few times (perhaps even a few times on your first attempt) you get a feel for it and it does become easier. Sadly, it's one of those skills you'll develop that you'll so rarely use.
