Agreed! These seats are not KR seats. The back of the KR seat has a leather pouch with a top magnetic snap, and has the KR logo on it. There are pix of the new KR on Ford's website under Auto Shows.

No offense, but the leather in those pictures looks mighty cheap. The leather on a KR seat is a nice deep rich brown.

EDIT: And yes, those are KR seats in the background. Perhaps it was a mistake, or a really bad con job. Notice how much nicer the leather is on the KR seat.

Agreed. Those seats may bolt into an F150, but definately are not the KR seats. They look nothing like it. "Mental note, never buy anything from this fool on Ebay"

And that woman with the parrot is hideous.

The photos changed. Earlier today all the photos showcased the KR seats. The tan seat in the photos there now, was not even in any of the prior photos.

Sounds like a scam to me!

The seats pictured are not for a F150 period as they have side air bags in the seats pictured.

However I do see king ranch seats in the back ground.

You're right. These aren't King Ranch seats however, please be reminded that this guy *DID* sell a set of King Ranch seats about a month ago. I believe this is a very simple case of wrong pictures inserted into the auction.

Further, this guy invited me over to his shop about two weeks ago as he knows I'm tied into the King Ranch community very very tightly. Unfortunately, we could never match schedules so that I could check out the King Ranch seats but, it's genuine and far from a scam. Check his feedback... you don't get 500+ with other high dollar auctions by 'scamming' people. You should really think about what you say before you call someone a crook or a fool. Words mean things.

No arguements on the parrot though. LOL!

Agree with RP totally.....

He is genuine, and perhaps made a genuine mistake.

No problems dealing with him myself in the past (and I have done a lot of high end dealing on E bay) and you really must be careful what you say in the public domain.
It doesn't take much in this litigious nation to make you regret a few thoughtless words !!

As I think has been mentioned, the pic at the link as of 10:08 PM CST is not the KR seats. Earlier in the day there were numerous shots of the KR seats for the new style F150 so, again as has been mentioned, probably just a glitch in what pics are now coming up.

However, when looking at these earlier (when the KR seats were viewable) I noticed that on the sides of the rear seat bottom there was what appeared to be backing type fabric instead of leather or even a color matched vinyl. This would certainly not look as most would expect when installed. All the 04 Scabs and Screws I have seen, including mine, have vinyl matched material on the complete sides of the rear seat bottom.

If you are going to spring for one of these sets it would probably be a good idea to ask about this.

Lenticular, excuse me for maybe being nieve, but I am not following on how a few guys shooting the breeze in a public forum could be held legally accountable for slander or something if we are just expressing an opinion. That's ridiculous. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and we are not broadcasting our opinion in the hopes of hurting this person's reputation, but merely to help possible unsuspecting buyers in our own community.

And to be technical about the whole thing, the ebay seller is the one who, knowingly or not, is guilty of false advertising and fraud. So explain to me why one of us should be afraid to voice an opinion over something that clearly in the wrong.

FLAME DISCLAIMER: I am not saying this person is trying to con anyone, by the sounds of others dealings with this seller, he is a stand-up merchant. That's not the point of my post.

I wasn't referring to any particular words in this thread or any other for that matter......or I would have quoted them.

I was following on from RP's comment about being careful what is said in actual words.

Let's say I have a "legal" background and can quote you an example from another forum on an altogether different topic than cars, when things got a little heated and someone was actually taken to court.

It was only a gentle reminder to think about what is said.....nothing more, nothing less !!
