Well, today makes 3 days that the dealership has had my truck, 04-f150 4x4 fx4 scab. It had all of 4000 miles on it and on my way to work Wednesday that dreaded wrench light came on, cycling the ignition key got rid of it but only for a few minutes which in turn set off the check engine light. I got the tell tale rough running engine and all around craptacular performance. Just got off the phone with the service manager at the dealer and they said they ordered it and it should’ve been in today but it's "stuck" in transit and won't be here until Monday. So I suppose until then I'll just keep driving this little Chevy Colorado they gave me. I guess I can't complain, as aggravating as this is I still love the truck and the guys at the dealer treated me like a champ and had me in and out of there. I did want to thank all of you because I fairly accurately guessed the problem before they did. Thanks for your help f150 online; I’ll post an update as soon as I get one.
