04 Exhaust System

I wrecked my '04 SCrew three weeks after I bought it and, amoung other things, my tail pipe was bent. Well, you can't even tell that the tail pipe is bent unless you get down on the ground an look at it. However the body shop went ahead and bought a whole new exhaust system (muffler and all) because you can't just order a piece of it from FoMoCo. Anyway, I've got a complete exhaust system for and '04 SCrew that I don't need b/c I am going to install an after market system. I would like to sell the factory one, but I don't know how to get rid of something like that. I know I probably won't get the $300 and something I have in it, but I'd like to get something for it. Is anyone intersted or does anyone know how I can sell it? FoMoCo won't take it back.

any ideas welcomed

Why did you pay $300 for it if it came bent?

It didn't come bent. The original exhaust system on my truck is bent so the body shop ordered a new one. I told them not to put it on because I'm installing after market. But I am stuck with the new exhaust system and the one still on my truck.

Right - your original one came bent, so they should buy you a new one under warranty, I'm wondering why you had to pay $300 for them to order a new one when you aren't the one who bent your original one...

With a name like Vocabulaic one would think that you could read and understand written english. Not a flame, I just noticed you seemed to have some difficulty.

Sell it on ebay...I have seen no sales of OEM exhaust yet on ebay. Just set up an account and follow the onscreen directions, its very easy and real cheap to sell stuff.
