I don't believe that you are seeing a clutch. Zoom in on the pedals, it is all the brake pedal. There is a black (rubber??) strip that goes down the center. This gives the appearance of two seperate pedals in that pic.

IMO Ford should make the Lincoln version look COMPLETELY different than an f150...Why spend the extra bucks?....all the same suppliers/materials will be used on this thing too. It may have more HP...but so what...i'm sure it'll suck more gas too...that color is sweet though.

I personally was a fan of the Blackwood, yet it didn't have any options. You couldn't get a bed that was actually usable, you couldn't pick any other color than black, and it only came in 2WD. So I could see why Lincoln would make a second attempt at this realizing what mistakes they made with the first pick-up. Just look at the success of the Cadillac EXT. I see them everywhere, and they look awesome too. I really hope this truck comes out, it may just be the replacement for my Excursion that I've been looking for.

I like the painted mirrors and door handles. Wish the F150 offered it in the Lariat

These pictures may not have all the detials but ...

No Navigation !!!

No HID Headlamps !!!

No Heated/AC seats !!!

Instrument cluster looks intersting but there better be a few more SUBSTANTIAL interior upgrades or why bother.

Wonder if the Door cladding will flap in the wind at 70mph like my 03 Navi did? FMC had to buy that unit back from me to fix it.

After downloading the picture, zooming in on it - and increasing the contrast, it is a clutch...

It is not a clutch.... I can upload a color corrected zoomed in portion where you can clearly see that it is a single brake pedal with the single bar behind it if you want.

I just wonder why they didn't keep the traditional Lincoln hood. I do like the look of the grill. That wouold look killer if they made it to fit the Wood.

a 5 sp in a Lincoln? Not gonna happen. Lincoln buyers don't shift.

You couldn't get a 5.4 manual before... I certainly don't see it happening now that the truck has even more torque.

Lots more information here http://media.ford.com/article_displa...ticle_id=17146

Looks like it will not get the 32V 5.4 from the Navigator.

that interior makes me wanna barf. yellowish-tan and silver should not be paired together. too light and too much shiny stuff. and it will only come as a SCrew. no thanks. i'll stick with my SCab in all black. personal preference.

by they way dlewis1340, how do you know it doesn't have heated seats? there is a line of buttons above the climate control display. that is where my heated seat buttons are in my Lariat.

Brew - Can't tell for sure on the seats, I should wait and see before I say that I guess.

but I did not see the perforations like the other Lincoln AC seats have and the switch would need to be for both heat and AC options.
