4.6L engine question

I think I read somewhere that the 2004 4.6L V8 engine is supposed to have a better flowing EGR system, and better engine gaskets. Can anyone clarify this for me? I'm almost positive that I read this somewhere, but I can't find it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

From the Ford 2004 Sourcebook: "Improvements for 2004 include the addition of wheel-torque-based electronic throttle control, the same system introduced on the 5.4L 3V Triton V-8. Reduced hydrocarbon emissions due to improved gaskets, seals and crankcase-ventilation plumbing. Electronic fuel injection with returnless fuel design, which has fewer components, generates less gasoline vapor and contributes to fuel efficiency."
