Seat comparison FX4 Captains chairs.
Does anyone have first hand knowledge comparing the comfort of seats in FX4?Are the leather captains chairs any more comfortable than the cloth?I have found all of the seats to be stiff. Are they breaking in after usage?Any opinions would be welcome.JJO
I took out a FX4 EX-cab with cloth felt a little boxy and stiff then took out a FX4 SCrew with leather. I would expect the SCrew to ride a little harder due to the slightly shorter wheelbase but the leather seats IMHO are much more comfortable and therefore the SCrew felt like it had a better ride. Needless to say I now have a Blazing Yellow SCrew with black leather.
This is a bit of a stretch, but maybe better than nothing...
I test drove a FX4 SCABw/ flint cloth about 2 months ago.
My FX4 SCAB w/ black leather came in last week.
I distinctly remember being concerned with seat comfort on my truck after driving the truck with cloth. I have been pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the seats in my truck however. So take it for what its worth... Its not like I drove them back to back.
