Chip affect on sensors
Chip affect on sensors
This is a general question for anyone that has a chip in any one of thier vehicles or has had one. Is there any sort of excess wear when you put in a chip into any vehicle? Im am unsure if I want to put a chip into my truck, as I have heard things that they wreak havoc on your sensors, and cause them to prematurely wear. Is this true? Could someone please shed some light here. Thanks.
Chips don't mess up the sensors.
Chips change the calibration of the
computer.This can cause any number
of problems with the engine or trans.
If you install a chip you are instantly
out of any warrantee you may have.
You pay your money and take your
chances.
Good luck
