How late into 2004 can you order a 2004 model ?

And does anyone know of any changes to the 2005 lineup ?

The reason I am asking is, I am waiting till late winter to order ( spring delivery ) Or should I wait for the 2005's

 

05's usually don't start going through the factory until summer. They usually use the 2 weeks of downtime to retool for the new model year. Not that there will be that many changes.

 

winters, when do you plan on putting in your order?

Just curious, as I cancelled my first order (ordered early August, which the dealer still let come in mid-Sept. to try to get me to change my mind) in order to do the same thing you are.

My last two trucks I bought as soon as they were available, and it's always just before winter hits, which sucks.

This time I want my new truck just in time for the nice weather so I can enjoy her newness for months and months before bad weather hits.

I am planing to order my truck in late february.

I am hearing conflicting reports on wait time,anywhere between 4 and 12 weeks.

Idealy I would like delivery in mid april.

 

I am in the same boat .... my Expy lease expires in May, but I really want a King Ranch F150, which supposedly will be out in '05 ... I was going to order my new F150 in January for pickup in April/May, but I may see if I can extend my lease 6 months with Ford Motor Credit. That will put me into October, and by then the King Ranch should be out.

Usually, the latest you can order a Job 2 vehicle is early June, then Ford re-tools the line for the new model year and begins production in late July.
