I say go for the moonroof, even though mine leaks whenever I go through ANY carwash. Anyone else out there having any water intrusion issues?

We've got a power moonroof on my wife's Taurus SEL and it's nice. However, I decided not to get it in my truck for the following reasons:

1) we don't use her moonroof very much;

2) $810 option is a bit steep (to me);

3) The more storage the better

Now, if the power moonroof was cheaper (say $400-500 MSRP), then I think I would have considered it more.

Just my thoughts,
E

Quite......

And those who say that having the moon roof will help at resale are sadly mistaken.

I have been involved with the motor trade for 40 years and as far as value goes it won't make diddley squat difference at trade in.

The only time it might help is if two identical trucks are sitting next to each other and a punter might go for the sunroof as opposed to a truck without.

(That is until the rail system becomes more well known and more options become available for it)

As for those people who suggested you needed the moon roof to blast out your audio systems....let's just hope you were joking.....otherwise please go play somewhere else.
