Color Chip Number
Didn't want to start a new thread, so this looked like a good topic to ask my question. I am looking for the color chip number for the 2004 F-150 color Bright Red. I normally would just read the number off the driver's door jamb, but my truck is still waiting to be built at the factory (been waiting 40 days already and still no VIN). Need the chip number to order a matching tonneau cover. Not looking for the "E4" order number color. Thanks in advance for any help.

Never mind ... E4 appears to be the correct code. Strange: F150 04 Ford brochure shows Bright Red ... Ford parts department info shows Vermillan Red. I hope it matches.
