SCAP is a Supercab

Scab= Super Cab (extended cab)
Screw= Super Crew Cab
XLT= Who knows???? That one has been around as long as I can remember (Early 80's) I think its just a name they gave to a trim level. It is now the mid grade level. XL, STX, XLT, FX4, Lariat

Hope this helps

so super cab is 2 doors extended cab and supercrew cab is 4 doors?

the trim level is kind of like luxury level isnt it? XL being the cheapest and lariat being top of the line? i know FX4 is the off road package, and im pretty sure lariat is interior luxury package. i think i got it. thanks a bunch, now i will know what everyone is talking about around here.

It really gets confusing when somebody says they have an '04 "SC" whatever...do they mean Scab or Screw? Only the Shadow knows!

In the Ford, extended cab is same as supercab. There are only three cab designations Regular Cab (RC), Super Cab (SCab = Extented Cab), Super Crew Cab (SCrew). The SCab and SCrew both have rear seats, The RC does not. As a previous Poster said ALL Ford P/U's have four doors. The RC and SCab both have rear doors that open from middle (aka Suicide doors). The SCrew has normal doors. The SCrew has slightly larger rear seats and a good bit more leg room than the SCab. However, the Ford SCab has probably the largest seat/leg room in class.
