2004 stereo question

I know this is probably a question for the Stereo section, but I figured you 2004 owners may not look there.

Taking delivery of an 04 Screw next month. The questions are as follows:

1) with a stock stereo and single CD, is there an existing wire hookup for the factory subwoofer under the back rear seats?

2) if so, will I be able to add this option?

3) Has anyone taken out the factory head unit? please describe. My 01' required special pins to be inserted into the deck. I checked with the service department. All they show on microfiche is 4 screws holdeing the head unit in. So how does the trim panel come off?

2004 stereo

I'm taking delivery of the 2004 Supercrew. I looked under the rear seat of the SCAB and SCREWS and they both appear to have the same subwoofer.

With respect to the model and the head unit. The dash looks the same to me so I assumed it didn't matter.

This info would be helpful to me

as well. I found the truck I want sitting on dinky dealership lot. They had less than 10 04' but 2 alomost like I want mine. A red, extended cab, flareside, FX4 loaded with everything except the Audiophile! According to the window sticker it has the single CD, AF/FM cassette. A $125 option.
