Has anyone installed window visors yet. I'm looking for the ones that attach with 3M tape to rubber trim around the window. The only ones I have seen so far either snap in or attach with tape to the paint. The pre-04 Ford visors used to attach to the rubber trim, but the new ones attach to the paint. These may look good on black, but I don't think they will look good on my truck.

 

I did'nt like the vent visors on my 99 f 150 Lariat. If i only wanted the window partialy down it seemed to channel the air into my ear and neck. Maybe it was my seat preference but i will not have them on my 04. Waiting on mine now, got a vin # hoping for a pre Christmas delievery.

I too had a '99 Lariat before I got this new FX4. It was a tough decision deciding between an FX4 or a Lariat this time. I kinda wanted a little bit of both. The way I figure it, I didn't lose any features that I had in the '99, but if I got an '04 Lariat I could have gained a few (heated seats, message center, EATC, etc.). I really wanted the DS gray and monotone paint so I got the FX4. Hope you get your truck soon. They seem to be rolling into dealerships pretty regularly now.

 

No one installing window vent visors or is there just nothing available yet?

 

Vent Visors are "old school" and ruin the looks of an aerodynamic vehicle.
