Any Gray FX4s w/ Ford Bug Deflector

I have an '04 FX4 and am having a hard time deciding if I want to put a bug deflector on. I had one on my '99 and liked the protection it offers, but there are afew things that worry me. Will this shield rub on the paint anywhere? Will it look out of place with the gray grill and gray hood? They seem to look pretty good on the Lariats since this is a nice split between the chrome grill and painted hood. Any pics or opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have not seen this in person or pics but i read a post that said that a carbon fiber deflector looks sharp with the Drk Shadow Gray. I ordered my Scab in this color, nice choice!!

w8n4sno...I have a shadow grey '04 with a EGR 3D Carbon Fiber deflector. Sorry, no pics, but this product draws raves from everybody that notices it. EGR uses a pattern of silver, black, clear (the 3D affect) vs. other brand's black dots on clear...it's a unique look. It actually blends so well with the shadow grey that it sort of "disappears" on the truck from a distance, so if you're after a "bold statement" look, perhaps another color would suit y'all better. However, it looks great from within the cab looking out over the hood.

Since 6 bolts between the grill/hood securely fasten the deflector (plus two insulated clips at the ends) there is no chance of vibration/movement of the deflector. Incidentally, with the soft aluminum hood, I wouldn't be without a deflector to prevent damage...mine has deflected an acorn at 60mph that would have severely damaged the hood.

No pics yet, but I do have a shadow grey FX4 with the ford bug deflector. I don't really like bug deflectors, but this one looks pretty sweet. I'll try and get u som pics later today.
