Snow!

Snowing like crazy here, guess we're supposed to get 6" today in the city, more in the high country. Anyone have any deep snow experiences yet?

Calling for snow tonight, we'll see. Not looking forward to taking a new truck out in the snow. People around here have hard enough time staying in their lanes during the summer!

Taking one out in the snow? I have to pick my 04 up from the dealers in the snow Monday - although in NE Illinois we are only supposed to get a little that morning. Probably just enough to get salt all over the street - yuck!

I parked my '03 Lightning for the winter. It's back to driving the '01 Screw 'til Spring. Maybe by then I can decide what model '04 to buy.

How long does it take the engine to deliver heat to the passenger compartment? I have a car with an aluminum block that I'm getting rid of when I get my SCrew. But I've gotten used to the engine heating up so fast that I have heat before I leave the neighborhood.

Today it was 33 degrees per the temp gauge in my truck and I had heat in about 3-4 minutes.

I love my 04 F150.
