Bull bars...any Pic's?
 

Hey, Folks - anybody got pic's of installed bars on the 04's? Your'e comments, mfg., and prices would be appreciated...

I would be interested in that as well. I'm planning on a westin bull bar (chrome) with two off road lights. However, I can't find lights that I like that will fit it and they seem pretty expensive right now.

I ordered a black powdercoated Ultimate Bull Bar (comes with the skid plate ) for my FX4. I also contacted Westin and found out that 6" lights would fit so I bought a pair of PIAA 520 ion crystal driving lights to put on the bar. The lights are pretty cool. When they are off they the lenses look yellow or purple depending on which angle you look at them. The wiring looks extremely easy to do as well.

The only problem is that the Bull bar is on back order and might not ship for a few more weeks. When I finally get the bar and the lights on the truck I will try to post some pictures if I can get my hands on a digital camera.

I bought the bar from www.AZTrucks.com for $279 plus $10 shipping which isn't that bad considering I can't get it that cheap where I live. We'll see if there are any scratches on it when I get it. Hopefully it will be shipped direct from Westin in a box or something. The lights I bought from a local shop so I can return them if there is a problem. They were $220. You can find them a little cheaper online but there are no returns.

Must presume there are no installs, yet... or else the proud owners would've posted pic's. All the supplier websites I've found have photos of F250's, not '04's. I had a grill guard on my '01 Screw, but I don't want to 'mess up' that good looking front end of my '04. I figure the bull bar would serve my purposes, but expose that arrogant nose! Not willing to take the plunge without seeing pic's, so... I'll just wait! Anyone with links to 04 pic's? Thx

I've also been thinking about installing the Westin bull bar on my new truck, but don't want to take the plunge until seeing one actually installed first!

Hey mwild, where did you get the flex antenna? I have been thinking about replacing the factory one b/c it keeps hitting the top of my garage. Does it change the quality of the reception at all?

BTW, nice to have a Delawarian in the forum - I lived up in Newark for about 4 years!

That is the reason I replaced mine.. the sound of the antenna scraping across the garage door & frame was killing me!

Below I attached a link to where I got my antenna. I'm convinced that my reception is much improved over the factory antenna.
