Question Are you happy with flow through?

I'm on week 7 of the 4 to 6 week wait that I was told to expect to take delivery of my '04 and getting desperate. There is a nearly identical truck sitting on a local dealer's lot, but without running boards (no big deal, can always go aftermarket) and with captain's chairs instead of 40/20/40. I went for the bench over captain's for comfort. I've seen a couple of reviews that say taller drivers will find the console intrusive on long drives. Is anyone sorry they have the console? Also, are you finding it prone to rattles? I read a couple of posts that said they found it flimsy. I've yet to see a Lariat in person that doesn't have the flow through, so obviously they are popular.

I'm 6'1" 250 and have no problem at all. I put 150 miles on the truck before i bought it. Maybe it's that fact that I came from a Tacoma Double Cab, but I fell I have ample room.

Let me just give you my 2 cents here. I heard all the same stuff before I bought and now that I have mine I will say to those who put down the seats and console " are you nuts?" I am 6'3" about 190lbs with no seat-meat to pad the ride and love the console and the seats. Fabric is kinda cheap but as for comfort I am happy. No problems with my knee hitting anything either. It all works for me. Hope this helps..

(blue fx screw, "leather" cpt. chairs) - After about 500 miles, I have absolutely no complaints about the center console, and the seats. There are no rattles, squeaks or any sense of flimsiness in the console. I'm 5'11, 150lb, and the whole arrangement is quite comfortable for me.

I'm 6'4" without any "seat meat" and I have the 40/20/40 cloth seats. No problems nor discomfort. In fact, I don't even have the seat set all the way back - which is a first for me!

love the console (HUGH STORAGE BIN!) and the seats. well worth the money. the floor shifter makes it feel more sporty too, if only it was manual tranny. i won't get started on that though. love the console!

The console is one of the main reasons I bought the truck. My boyfriend needs a lot of leg room and he has no complaints. It is very comfortable.

I love the seats and console. At 6'4" and 240 lbs., I still have plenty of room. The seats seem very comfortable to me on long trips and the console has yet to rattle. I am very happy with the bucket seats/ flow through console choice.

Ditto on liking the seats and console. By the way with my radio off the only rattling I've heard is from my wrist watch on my left arm. Thought it was the truck turned out to be the watch band...

The flow through is great except that they could have made it like the Explorer with a seperate fan control. Also nothing comes out the flowthrough if you have the front set to come out on the floor only or the defrost only. ????
