I want to get a soft tonneau, molded mud guards, a bug shield, a carpet bed liner, a split back cat back exhaust, and a performance air filter( like a K&N). Has anyone actually purchased and installed any of these items? I am having a tough time finding these parts. I seem to remember reading last Spring that all the aftermarket boys were gearing up to have all these parts available when the new F150 came out-doesn't seem to be the case. Is this a case of "just be patient" which is ok if you know that there is a date by which the products will be available. Thanks for your help guys.

While not EVERYTHING that EVERYBODY wants is currently available, there are now many, many items available. Try searching www.tonnocover. com, www.truckspecialties.com, www.pickupspecialties.com etc. and the brand websites such as Lund, EGR, Leer, etc. Also, go to Google search with an 2004 F150 accessories inquiry. Also, note the first thread of this forum and other threads.

 

all cat back systems and intakes or air filters will be available early next year, except replacement K&N filters for the 4.6L engine. they use the same as the 2003 F-150 since they have almost the same engine.

do a search on this forum, there has been a lot of discussion on the aftermarket. also at the top of the forum there is a "sticky" with currently available aftermarket products.
