Incentives? XCR440SP?

I am expecting my truck any day now. I'm hoping for a November incentive but not holding my breath.

My question is, when an incentive is offered, is it *always* available on the 1st of the month?

I ask because my dealer has Sunday and Monday off, and if it comes this week, I'd like to take delivery on Saturday (Nov 1st). If a November becomes available on Monday, I don't to miss out.

I know the safe bet is to wait until Tuesday, Nov 4th, BUT naturally I'll want it when it comes in.

Talking

I have an FX4 Screw coming probably the middle of November. Were both hoping for an incentive.

I would think that if Ford is going to have an incentive for November it probably would start on the 1st.

We can both keep our fingers crossed.

why worry about it now? Get the truck and THEN wait to see IF anything has become available.

How does one collect on a rebate *after* you get the truck?

It has always been that if a rebate is on when you take delivery, you get it . No grace period to my knowledge...be careful not to rush delivery.

A little bird told me 2 things today

1. He hasn't heard of any rebates on 04 F150's in March

2. A memo coming from the home office says that Arnold is likely to sign the bill to repeal the CA car tax. Vehicles purchased after Arnold signs the bill, will still have to pay the increased tax for a period of time. However, they will get a refund later. So if you have to wait a few extra weeks, it might save you some $$$$.

This person works for Lincoln so he doesn't necessarily know everything that's going on at Ford accross the way, but he's been right before.....

I don't expect any rebates. From the way Ford's pushed the new F-150 turning the company around, if they offer rebates it will cause stock prices to fall further so they've backed themselves into a corner. What they can do is further "non rebates" such as the owner loyalty or lower APR rates. I don't expect anything drastic here, but posibly owner loyalty expanded to SuperCrew or lowering the APR rates slightly. Please note that these are just GUESSES! I won't know what's going to happen until they are anounced (which is usually the day they start.)

As to claiming rebates after purchase, forget about it. Rebates have specific dates and if not purchased in those dates you don't get the rebate. So if you purchase now and rebates come out on the 1st, you DO NOT get them. However, if a rebate came out today and the dealer didn't know about it until after you picked up your truck, he can submit for it and you'll get a check from Ford since you'd be within the program dates.
