Awesome truck! Mine will be almost identical except for the color. I order red/dk grey 2 tone - almost want to change it yellow now

The other difference, and I've been thinking about it for a while, is the black sport cloth. I ordered medium flint and might change after seeing yours. Yours do not look as "black" as I had expected and the inner panels look more gray. I thought they would be monotone.

How would you describe them? They look great.

Does anyone have pics of the medium flint cloth captains in the FX4?

Thanks.

Congratulations!!

Great looking truck!!

It actually is what I was kind of thinking of when I first contemplated an order. But since I knew I was going to keep it a long time (10+ if it behaves) I started to shy away from Yellow, chicken I guess. After that is was Red or Black. On the Red I didn't like the busy look of all the trim out (black door handles etc.) so I ordered Black, but on the Yellow I think it looks great. The 18" wheels I think are a must, it just says "tough truck". Glad to hear you like the audio, I had the hardest time with that option as in justifying the cost. Hope she treats you well!!!

No money for a new Digital Camera -- I need all my extra money for more Truck Stuff

Quick question: Is the part of the bed under the rear wheel wells painted black or is it plastic lined? On some of the other FX4's I've seen had the side of the rear wheel wells painted the same color as the truck.
There is a Black Plastic insert on the Fareside the rest is Yellow

Nice ride --- I did get the pwr side -- very nice

I'm 6'4" and could reach the rear window in my '99 SCab but with the added length it need the Pwr

Nice! Any trouble with your Remote Start? I read elsewhere on this forum someone said he had one installed, but if the truck automatically shut off after 10 minutes (or however long you set it to) the alarm would sound. I wouldn't want that!

Any idea if yours does this or not? Did you have Ford install it?

I love it on my '98 and want to get it on my '04, but not if the alarm sounds when it auto-shuts off!

I did not get an alarm -- just the Auto-Start -- no issues yet and great range (a good 200 yrds)

Bigmac,

My range is about the same it totally rocks being able to warm up my truck from inside the office. I will always have a remote starter from now on.
