it cost $1200 for a front row all leather in 97 lariat that was 2-door---if you have all leather front and back, it would be pretty damn costly--I for one am happy, besides, I sure ain't ridin back there----

 

Remember what we pay for our trucks!!!! We have already paid the "pretty damn costly" amount. Should be all leather for the price.

 

This is what I have seen, 2004 Supercrew Lariat 4x4 the front seats seating area is leather, the back seats are leather only on the center of the seating area of the left and right sides but not the center of the bench and all the rest the seat. 2004 Supercab Lariat front seats the same as Supercrew but the rear seat was all vinyl. I did not bother to check FX4's.

 

And by the way, my 2003 Supercrew Lariat FX4 4x4 is the same way as 2004's as far as leather seats goes.

 

Would you have noticed you truck didn't have leather unless someone told you. Vinyl works better in many applications and vinyl trimmed has been an industry standard for many automakers for a long time. Even Mercedes and Volvo are smart enough to use vinyl in the areas that are high use or stretch. Wait till your kid spills grape juice on your back seat and you will be glad you have vinyl
