Great Interest Rates

Want to let you guys in on a company here in the DC area that has great rates and great customer service...

Pentagon Federal Credit Union or www.penfed.org is available to all military (active or retired) as well as others that have affiliations or are depends of military... PFCU has all my loans and some of the best rates around... Upon telling any dealer in the DC area you have financing through PFCU they immediately drop the idea of selling you Fords financing... Not many companies out there can touch their financing...

http://www.penfed.org/join/eligible.html

Current rates are:
3.9% for new and used models through 2002...
4.9% for older used models and refi's

http://www.penfed.org/rates/carloanrates.html

I think their rates are great and just wanted to pass the news along to those that are or have helped to protect our freedom...

for those of you that dont qualify for PFCU through the military or its affliliates... there is one other way to become a member... Pay a onetime annual fee to an association in Olde Town Alexandria and you instantly become a member of PFCU....

https://loanapps.penfed.org/membapp/nmfa/mbapnmfa.htm

I dont know if PFCU is more strict on credit scores with these rates but it might be worth the small onetime fee ($20) to get these rates especially in Ford doesnt come out with reasonable rates on the new F150 from the get go....

I beleive they will finance a truck no matter where in the US you live...

Also I dont work for PFCU or know anybody that does... Just trying to help... Have you guys found any better rates?

Peoplefirst.com will beat by 10 basis points, any rate that they can verify as long as you do the automatic withdrawal. For example if your bank is offering 3.9% for 72mos then peoplefirst.com will go 3.81% for 72mos. I know that they did this up until 6 mos. ago anyway and I would feel sure they still do.

True, but

Yes I tried CreditOne and they started at 4.75 over 72 months until I mentioned my CU at 3.99 (last month), they went down to 3.94.

I decided to support my CU for the small delta in cost.

My local CU also has 3.99% for up to 72mo new or used. I refinanced both my vehicle loans at the new rate. The convienience for all proximity for all my banking needs is worth a small hit on the interest rate.
