Thumbs up Rangerized F-150

Good, bad, or indifferent, to me atleast it looks like they 'Ranger-ized' the F-150. Just about every angle looks like a blown up version of the Ranger Edge. All in all I think it looks pretty good... I like it a lot more then I did when I first saw the new Chevy or the new Dodge before either had a chance to wear on me... However if they had told us a year ago they were basing the styling of the next F-150 on the Ranger... Man can you emagine the reaction we would have had!

Hmm, I thought the Edge Ranger actually took a lot of cues from the current F-150 with the honeycomb grill for example. Not as rounded and soft, though.

Cool

STX/98, I was thinking that very thing yesterday when I saw a Ranger Edge on the street. I thought, wow, looks like a mini-F150.

Yeah, it does, doesn't it?? What do you know...
I don't even mind it? I rented an 02 Ranger 4x4 last year around Xmas, and the ride put my truck to shame, good handling too. I hope they transfrred the ride to the 150 also Imagine what a billet grill will look like in that huge surround opening, ,,,,98

I agree - kinda looking forwards to seeing some other grills on the new F-150. The new Dodge for example is helped out more by a billett grill and painted front-end than just about any truck I've ever seen. Will be interesting to see... (I'd emagine it will look a lot like a billet grill on a current SD.)

I see they finally did away with the big bumper to fender gap on the new 150 also! I had to buy a $300 bumper cover and $220 for paint to do it on mine. It really cleans it up not having that big black gap in the front end.,,,,98
