Overall I'm very impressed! I think Ford did their homework here. I guessed they would offer a 5.5 ft & 6.5 ft box. This will make the 5th wheel guys happy. It will be a great truck. I don't like the FX4 grill and I prefer the XLT front over the Lariats chrome(reminds me a bit of a Ram) but I want the console shifter so maybe Lariat is the choice? But the Lariat interior colors are not my fav. The black FX4 is better. Have to see them in person first.

One question: Where is the 5 speed auto. Very disapointed! What gives. Is a 6 speed auto coming in a year or two cause then I'll wait...

A 6-speed auto transmissions is around the corner, for 2005 or 2006 models. For 2004 we just get the same 4-speed (with modifications Ford says).
