97 F150 shutter with to much pedal
I have a 4.2 5 speed 97 flareside with over 200k that is and has been shuttering if i press too far down on the pedal too fast. If i shift at higher rpms i can push the pedal down faster and farther once in in gear. I know this truck well enough to keep it from shuttering whether im trying to really speed up or cruising but is this just the little 4.2 struggling to gitty up or is there a deeper issue. BTW i couldnt tell you exact rpms cause i have the cluster that only has the miles per hour. Maybe its normal and i havent driven enough manual cars to know. SOS haha

almost positive it hasnt been changed in longer than that so hoping it does the job along with the sparks in wires. Looked up a video, i agree, it should be pretty easy. Thanks for the advice

Sorry i didnt get back sooner but getting the fuel line off was the biggest pain in the *** while sparks were a breeze. All in all, no more shutter! Fuel initial helped a little but didnt fully fix it so i went and did sparks and holy cow did it make it difference. Didnt feel the need to change wires yet, but thank you all for your help.
