then route side by side with other hose.....cut as needed to length...obviously you must cut off the other end of the factory HOSE attached to heater core. Then simply join the to hoses via 5/8-5/8 nipple and hose clamps.

It comes out in the front. ...hence the horseshoe shape. ..then it rides beside the other heater house. ....it's really nothing dramatic....just having a molded hose. ..solved......

If you could get a full pic it would be appreciated. I just haven't had my hood open in months, and seeing this visually will help me be more sure if this is what I want to do or not.

I actually already have a new motorcraft metal pipe and a new knock sensor to go in. But will go with your hose idea if I decide I like it.

I work for an OEM so, I deal with molded hoses daily, hundreds of times, lol

Got the firechicken hose. Got all up in the area with a pressure washer, and it's mostly dry now thanks to my dad's leaf blower. How do I remove the factory pipe? Seems it has 2 attachment points behind the passenger side head between it and the firewall? I have been turning something with a 10mm wrench for what seems like forever. And the pipe still isn't budging. Comparing to the new pipe, one hole is slotted and the other is huge. A lot bigger than the 10mm nut or bolt I am spinning. And it still won't budge.

Got a wet/dry vac..... apparently I have lots of water in my head, lol

Will deal with it in the morning.

I got off that pipe.... what a pain. Also ripped up the heat blanket right behind... oops......

I need to find the special tool to release the quick fittings @ the heater core. I am going to swap sides of them before I cut them up. Will help better deal with my firechicken hose and attachment to the new pipe @ the back of my manifold instead of the one on the OE front crossover

Got a brass fitting.

Got the old lines off. Forgot which went where. Tried to clean them, and 3 O rings and a plastic washer came out of the ends. Nothing left in the ends, and nothing left on the heater core pipes. Not sure where to put everything back..... I did want to switch left and right side hoses before I cut them up though.

Found another plastic piece...... hmmmmm

To not have to screw with things anymore, just going to cut my hoses up until I like them, and use new quick fittings. I just picked up 2 of these.
