Almost got stuck

My 2002 Super Crew won't lock into 4 wheel drive. I kind of needed it. Could it be something as simple as a fuse?:help:

from your description, I presume its electric 4x4 activation?
Could be just a fuse. check all fuses and relays
might be that the vacuum line come off? does it run well?

the shift solenoid might be bad or just sticky too. Or the electric motor on the side of the T-case.

I see that you are from Florida....were you in area that got a lot of heavy rain? or drove threw high water?

Any puddles on the inside of the cab floor on the drivers side?

enriched, Yes it is electronic and we did have very heavy rains. I purchased the truck in February, it's in excellent condition minus the rear of the cab leaks. When engaging the switch there is no sound like you would normally hear when locking. I will check fuses, relays and the vacuum line. Any idea what the issue would be if there is no vacuum? Thanks for your response.

considering that you had some very heavy rains. Are you experiencing any other "odd" electrical happenings?? damp floor on the drivers side after it rains?? reason I ask, you might have a windshield leak, which, then migrates water to the GEM module.?? I'm not saying that is what is happening, just a possibility.

if the vacuum is not working the working to the front axle then you need to check the vacuum solenoids on the fire wall Also make sure that the shift motor is working on the T case.

Enriched, thank you for your help. I don't have any windshield issues and will check the vacuum and solenoids. I appreciate your insight.
