Won't turn over

We own a 1997 F150 and it won't turn over. We've replaced the starter, solenoid, ignition switch, and the battery. It won't even click but it can be jumped from the solenoid. It also will not start off the ignition switch. Before all this happened the alarm would continually go off and we couldn't get it to stop without pulling the center plug of the alarm box. That made the alarm stop but it still won't start. If anyone has some suggestions we are willing to try anything. My first thought is the anti-theft may still be engaged but wouldn't it at least try to turn over? My husband and I are at a loss. Help!

If it won't even click, I'd suspect a misadjusted or failing MLPS. Try it in Neutral, wiggling the shifter up and down.

Nah, it has an aftermarket alarm with a starter interrupt which was subsequently unplugged.

Find the starter interrupt relay and bypass it.

Neutral

My truck often times does the same thing, especially parked at an upward angle. Its my transmission not quite getting into park. Try starting in Neutral.
