Transmission or ignition problems
I have a 97 Ford f150 I need a little advice gets up to 40 mph then it starts to kick and buck but will never get pass 40. I change the coil packs, new wires, new plugs, and also did timing chain and intake gasket set. Still the only code I have is lean bank 1. If any one has any ideas please let me know.

Why is the lean code being given a back seat?
It may not be causing the missing but certainly has an effect especially at low RPM where is has shifted the long term fuel table for that bank.
You need to address every know issue for correct operation.
Good luck.

If your trying to replace cooler lines, its an automatic.
Being a 4.2 V6 the only automatic used was a 4r70w 2wd or 4wd.
Why is that such a difficulty?
Some one is not using their head!
A least get under an look at the pan shape, count the bolts and look up pan gasket shapes to ID the type.
Good luck.
