May be replacing the coil packs and wondered if anybody here had a recommendation on brands? This may be part of a larger job on the motor so I may just want to replace all the coils and plugs at once. The prices are all over the place on these. See some for $90 each and packs of 8 for $200 +/-.

Ideally, you should use Motorcraft. However, people have had good luck with Delphi which are considerably less expensive:

I replaced mine with Accel's about 18 months ago and they run good.

 

Good luck with those Accels, they don't have a good record.

 

summit racing has a good deal on msd under 200.00 bucks with boots and springs
