Engine won't start always

Had this truck few years no engine codes...motor size 4.2l....it always start with in a1/2 second to one of ever goes that far...I don't drive it every day...has about 160k miles...in the last few weeks it's been raining in s .ca so one day I got on the truck the engine cranked...few second it won't run or try to run....released the ignition key tried again to crack engine for anther 2 to 3 seconds engine won't start...The 3 rd time it started from the 1 second...runs prefect....so I thought maybe too much humidity...in motor...possible why...in a week it did that again...and some days start ad usual immediately...few days ago it took a minute won't start....or try...waited a minute and cranked it started prefect...and as of today it is prefect....what part...sensor shall I need to test...any idea...I hear the fuel pump...is it possible the pump...if so...why it does not stall when I'm driving it...brain storm if possible please.

Check the fuel pressure. It's easy on these trucks.
