Stiffler's Stainless Brake Lines
 

Has anyone installed this kit on their tenth gen?

My brakes are about as dead and spongy as you can imagine, and I've actually noticed a reduction in braking power compared to when I bought the truck in 2010. I'm sure the factory rubber hoses are in need of replacement.

What pads and rotors should I pair these with?

No experience with Stifflers as they only have 2WD lines and mine is a 4WD.

I thought I'd throw out a mention of Finelines.com though as they do have lines available for all models- standard cab, extended cabs, short beds, long beds, 2WD, and 4WD. I bought the rear hard line for my extended cab short bed 4WD and it fit perfectly. You have to source the rubber lines separately though.

As for brakes- I currently have Centric rotors and their Posi Quiet pads. They are nice and smooth and have good initial bite and good stopping power. No complaints whatsoever. I typically used to run Raybestos professional grade stuff, but my buddy who works at the parts store has been telling me the Centrics have been the preferred option lately for the mechanics they supply.

Centric ceramics and Centric rotors here - best brakes I've ever had. Smooth, quiet, NO dust, and on the front are still good with about 115k on them.

I run SS lines in my Mustang and when I had motorcycles. By far the best brake mod to do. No need to upgrade pads and rotors unless its needed.
