Saying goodbye to my 2003 tomorrow

It's very bittersweet, I've loved my 03 Lariat Screw. Put a 3" body lift and FX4 rims with 285/70's on her along with lots of other little things, including a factory radio from on 04 Ranger that plays MP3 CD's. I had planned on keeping her forever but an 07 King Ranch with just 59K came up and I just couldn't pass up that low mileage! Thankfully the buyer is getting it for his son as his first truck, so hopefully he'll take good care of her like I have!

I had a 97 and the 03, I honestly believe the 97-03 trucks are the best looking ever!

Good looking truck. It's hard to let them go.

Welp it was tough to say goodbye to her today but these Benjamin's are keeping me company to help get over it lol. It was nice to have one last drive today. I'm sure I'll see the buyer around town as they don't even live that far away, hope he does some cool mods!

Bummer. Having an '03 and just getting rid of my '08 yesterday, you got rid of the better truck. The attention to detail on the later trucks in some regards just isn't there, IMHO, but that's probably for another time/thread.

It feels good to drive the '03 around again. Mother Nature even washed it down pretty good here last night to where another leak sprang up at the top of the windshield. Gotta' find me a Heritage era Expy or Navigator to make up for the loss of a big back seat, though.

Good luck with the King Ranch Meanstreak. I considered one but the gas mileage was a deal breaker for me. Guess I'll stick with my '99 Extended Cab Lariat, even with the 5.4 and 4x4 I can get 18 on the road.
