Experts help! It's... A new noise!

Just had motor built. It's not coming from the motor. It's coming from the bellhouse area. Sometimes it's synced with the rpms, but when I slow down to stop it sounds faster and then slows down to the engine rpms. Happens in any gear and also in park.
Something in the transmission? The shop that did the work said all of the bolts were tight in the flex plate and converter, he rechecked them.

Any ideas? Listen to the noise at the end of the video. It almost sounds like one of those old wind-up spring toys that would spin out if you over tightened them.

Sounds to me like they didn't tighten something up???Time will tell and if they didn't do it correctly, they got to pay the price of whatever breaks!

Could be a cracked Flex plate?

I'm taking it back to them Monday. Found a loose motor mount the bolt is just barely hanging in it. That's not my noise though.
Is it possible they could've cracked the flex plate while removing or installing the motor?
The sound has nothing to do with rpms most of the time. It almost sounds like someone is just slinging a spring or small bit of metal up into the bellhousing randomly and letting it rattle around.

When I've seen Flex plates crack, its around the crank shaft bolts.

just following up, took it back to the shop and they got it resolved. there is a sheet metal plate (?) that goes somewhere in the engine to transmission area that was rattling around. they fixed it.
i must say, this shop has taken very good care of me, and any issues i have had after the rebuild.

Forgot about that pc of tin that gets bent when R&R an trany or motor. Happens a lot! Glad they found it.
