Here is mine with 5 inch RCX....with 295/75/16 terra grapes and 16x10 wheels....not exactly what you said but pretty close....i drove around like that forever and it looked ok sometimes but i always felt like there was just too much space....if you have a wide wheel and a aggressive tire it prolly will look ok...

It's about the same size tire.. It actually dose not look too bad.. thanks for the pics

No Prob...Do you have wheels/what size?....and do you have a mud/aggressive tire?

Blue-02-2wd Mar 11, 2013 02:19 PM

i have 285's as winter wheels on my truck and i have a 6.5" on mine on the same tock rims as you and dosent look bad at all IMO my 35's look alot better but the 285's fill out the wells decent.

Halverso_99 Mar 11, 2013 02:45 PM

I think they would look too small IMO. I had 285s at stock height.

i think 285's will look small with a 6" lift. i ran them when i had a 3" BL and they looked ok.

I have the perfect solution, get the lift and buy my wheels and tires! :D

hunterjh Mar 11, 2013 05:25 PM

put on the lift now and save up for gears and 35's while you wear out your new 285's

STXXXSTAR13 Mar 11, 2013 05:42 PM

id have to agree it look too small. those guys out in cali putting an 8 inch lift on their rigs and running a 33x15.50 tire can look rediculous, so a 6 with a tire thats just barely getting to 32 inches overall i think would look like a donut and not a full size tire.

Need some help deciding

I am the proud owner of a 2013 FX4 5.0l Crew Cab shorty and want to dress it up a little. Wondering what siz tire I can get under it with a 2 inch leveling kit.

Also curious if I lift it 6 inches what tire can I get under it using stock 20x8.5 wheels and what would be the best lift (suspension) for doing this?

Would appreciate all opinions.

Baderenzy....try searching it first and if not then make a thread in the 2013 section...we would like to help ya but this is the 97-03 section.... some guys may know here but youll get better results in that section

I had 285's on my truck for a while when I was around 8". Me being 2wd it was close to the height you would be at 6". With a wider set of aftermarket wheels it honestly doesn't look too bad. There is a pic of it on pizzaman's suspension sticky.
