Wasn't sure if anyone has done this or not. On my 99' I didn't like the look of a 'naked' engine and at the time, couldn't find a stock throttle body cover for cheap. However, a seller on ebay had over a dozen newer model Expedition 5.4 covers for sale, $25 shipped IIRC. Bolted right on to my 99' 5.4 but took some minor trimming to clear the throttle and cruise cables.

Is the auction still active? Been looking for one since I did my 2004 5.4 swap on my 98. Did an eBay search and didn't see it.

The seller I got it from is no longer active and there doesn't seem to be any 5.4 ones on ebay. Found a few 4.6's though. Will let you know if I come across any.

No wonder they're so hard to find... just figured out they only came on 03-04 Expeditions, in 05', they swapped over to the 3v 5.4 which has the airbox on top of the motor. Makes me wish I took it off before I traded the truck in now!
