So was under my buddy's truck today, helping with mounting a brush guard. I happen to look over and see this...

Not sure how long he's been driving like this, but I'm sure it has been awhile. Figure it should be a cheap and easy fix. Any suggestions on aftermarket sway bar links? Seems like they are sold in many different sizes. Truck is stock, t-bars cranked, with 285s

I wonder how that feels when you are taking turns at high speed?

Hello body roll!!!

exact same thing happened to me recently. The front of my truck had a rattle and it handled like a tugboat.

I got some MOOG replacements at the auto store for $13 each - they were all steel with blue poly bushings. Not the crappy plastic OEM ones that retain water and eventually rust the bolt.

Guy at the parts store said he 'sells a LOT of these things' for F150's.

15min job to replace. Have fun.

They just get old and break.... on virtually every passenger vehicle on the road... not just Fords. Cheap fix with minimal effort. I couldn't tell ya how many sway bar kits I've installed over the years.
