Truck cap brake light problem

Hi all,

I posted this in the topper section also, hope it isn't against the rules to double post. Anyway, I found the light green wire at the back of the truck that is dedicated for a 3rd brake light, but it gets no juice when the brake pedal is depressed. Is there a dedicated fuse somewhere for this wire? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

It really depends who installed it and how they wired it. Just follow the wire and see where it goes. Most likely down to the tail light and then towards the front of the truck.

When I had my old cap installed the dealer ran a fused wire from the firewall on the battery side all the way to the back of the truck.
