With a 4six, are headers with it?

You can buy headers for 4.6. Get long tubes, Dynatech, OBX, since you are 2wheel drive it will be easier to find them. Also the heads are the same between the 4.6 and 5.4 2valve motors, the 5.4 block is taller and wider.

EGR placement differs on the 4.6 vs the 5.4, dunno by how much but I guess it's enough to be a pain. Pacesetter makes a set of long tubes.

I don't think summit offers Lt's, just shorties.

No gains with shorties. 30 hp/35 torque gains with LT's. Lookup Built54's dyno runs for comparisons, -exhaust forum. Runs were done with a 98 NA 5.4L tho.

The 4six would be a little less. Numbers wise.

Can't find his dyno run, but I'd like to see it. I'd like to see where the curve is. Those gains in the max department don't give an indication of what happened down low.

PM Joey (Built54). I think search might be goofed up.

Gains are everywhere ++. He was @ his tuners.

you are correct, and built54 showed his dyno sheets with the shorties and it didn't do much, but when he installed the long tubes it made a huge difference (expecially down low) in the area accross the board

Yea, what happened to those ? I can't find them either. That sucks, no one else has posted up comparisons in the past.
