2002 f150 vs 2008 f150

Hey guys I noticed the 4.6 in the 2002 f150 has 232 hp but the 2008 has 248hp.my question is what is the difference in these 2 engines, since I believe both are 2v.

I know they changed from thermostatic clutch fan to an electronic driven clutch fan.

I believe other intake changes as well

The 2008 truck is 500 lbs heavier so the performance is about the same I would guess.
