Tonight, i rolled up to a stop sign, i watched my lights dim, and since i had music going, i guess i didnt hear my truck shut off. I go to accelerate...nothing happened. So i put my truck in park, turn the key off, and restarted it. I heard it could have been the alternator, and this isnt the first time this has happend..

 

Go over to Autozone and get your battery and alternator load tested.

 

Alternator

I drove mine home that way one time. It would slowly die until it shut off then pulled over to the side of the road and waited 2-3 minutes... fired up and drove for another mile or so before it died again and so on.
