If your doing it by yourself it's gonna be far from easy. If you have one or two people helping it can probably be knocked out in around a weekend. It's not hard work, just time consuming but having an extra set of hands definitely helps. Start soaking all the bolts in pblaster at least 24 hours before you plan on actually doing the install, and plan on breaking at least one torx I think they're t50 but not completely positive on the size when you go to remove the bolts in the bed or having to cut a bolt out of the bed due to rust.
If your gonna get a shop to do it figure about 600+ for install.

my body lift was easy, took me and my dad about 4 hours. just unbolted half the truck at a time on the body and slid the blocks in, bed we pulled off and it was easy. im running 37s now on a 3" bl and cragar soft 8 rims. i was running a 33 before any lift on stock wheels. i ground all the bolt heads off on the bed and pulled the bed off em, then took a pipe wrench and removed the studs. the only hard part on the body was the 2 front mounts where the bumpers at. those needed to be cut with a sawzall and replaced. cant beat 3" for 190 bux

Again, I'm not saying it can't be done I just don't believe I've seen what it looks like hence the pic request.

i got stock torsion bars cranked, had the same 37s on stock oem ford rims before i put them on my cragars, how do you figure itll cost too much? body lift is already 200 bux, you have that, trimming the valence cost money? you ever look at off road trucks or true off street rigs? you want to put the biggest tire possible under the truck with the smallest lift. keeps center of gravity down. no reason to put an 8" on my truck when a 3" body will suffice.
